Winter Storm Inga made its way through our part of town today.
She was a nice Swedish girl and didn’t over stay her welcome. We got about 1″ of snow and it’s fairly warm (34 degrees) so it wasn’t a mess out there. I’m pretty sure we won’t even get to sled in what Inga left behind. Oh well…maybe the next one, lol. Bjorn out!
At Christmas the Funko Nation exploded in size. Now it’s super crowded. All are welcome in Bjorn’s world though.
Oswald loves the snowy, icy winter mess we’ve been dealing with lately. He gets along great with Freezy. Those two are peas in a pod.
We’ve got some new Chefs in the house…Welcome Alfie and Remy 🙂
The pancakes are awesome…I kid you not!
So many more faces will be popping up here. Bjorn’s doing well. He says Hi and is enjoying his holidays.
Happy New Year!
It snowed this weekend in our town. It was beautiful and required very little shoveling, which the Roomie loved most of all, lol. I enjoyed it and I’m so rocking this Christmas hat…HO, ho, HO!!
It gives us all hope that it will be a White Christmas like Bing Crosby sings about.
Eddie likes to sing his version of White Christmas but substituting White for Pantless. Yes, he is a very odd fellow.
Wentz enjoyed the snow but didn’t enjoy tearing his ACL in yesterday’s game. Get well soon buddy!
Oh…don’t get me started on these guys. Seriously the bickering is annoying but then it snowed and Heat got all crazy. It’s winter time dude…relax and chill out. HA HA HA…see what I did there. I”m one funny Troll!
Wentz is stoked about Christmas Day Football!
Who is ready for some Christmas Cookies? We are, We are!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Bjorn and Mick Gang!
Now bring on Christmas….
So I’m just hanging out having a beer and smoking my cigars and wham…accidental car fire.
That guy over there yelled at me to put some pants on. Seriously?
Dude there is an emergency happening right now. I’m just here to report it.
You don’t need pants to report the news. Just interest in it. Also, I’m glad there is a bar next door. Have a good weekend you filthy animals!
Hey looks…the cows are home.
The Roomie likes to spend her lunch hour watching the cows. We don’t get it.
We all just smile for the pictures, lol.
Except Heat Miser…he’s still mad it’s getting colder again, lol.
Peak leaf weekend was last weekend. Now most of the trees are bare. There is still a little color here and there but for the most part we are banking into Winter soon.
We all love going into the forest this time of year though. Well, everyone but Heat Miser. He’s very cranky.
Saturdays in Autumn are for Craft Fairing. This past Saturday was the mother lode of CF days. We had multiples and one of those was at St. Katharine Drexel Shrine. I had never been to the Shrine and neither had the Roomie so we thought this was a win/win. The Campus is closing in January and the body of St. Katharine is being moved to somewhere in Philadelphia from the Bensalem, PA campus. St. Katharine lived here for many years before her death and it was the Mother House for her order.
The Chapel is magnificent. It reminded me a lot of the churches in Britain. It kind of made me feel like I was back home again.
St. Katharine was an amazing woman who grew up wealthy and gave it all up to take care of her fellow human beings. Her focus was to enable the Native American and African-American women and children a chance at a better life through education and endowment. She founded colleges and schools and helped to provide medical help when needed to the poorest among us. She used the money left to her by her parents ($15 million) to fuel her endeavors.
It made me sad that this beautiful campus has been sold. Luckily her vision is still being upheld by her Order. We were just glad we got to see all of this and to kneel and pray to her before she is moved. Well the Roomie did that while I took selfies in the chapel.
I personally like the Park CF’s. I get to play in the forest!!
It’s raining now but we wanted to get out for perhaps the last of the Leafy pictures for this Autumn Season.
Elmer was feeling right at home in the forest. We are glad we don’t live in the Urban Center where trees are few.
The Miser Brothers were debating who was in control of the weather now. They always argue about that. Today was 46 degrees so Freezie was gloating.
Carol, Hattie and Jonathan love these little adventures too. You know Jonathan is all about picture-taking. It is life.
