We went with the Roomie to see ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the historic Walnut Street Theater.
Mr. Nigel Murray loves the theater. He said it reminded him of his days in London.
We all wondered if he wore clothing in London? It’s not a question one just blurts out and he wasn’t being forth coming.
Pablo gave the show 12 nubs up! He was loving the songs and chuckling along like the rest of us. It was a wonderful day In Town. We are all starting to feel the Christmas spirit! God Bless us Everyone!
Jimmy and Eddie want to wish you a Happy Groundhog Day!
Eddie doesn’t get the whole let a rodent predict the weather angle but it looks fun.
Jeff is all about the 130th Anniversary of the event.
Linc decided to use the Magic 8-Ball to make sure Phil’s prediction was correct. He got a strong “Most Likely”. I’ll take it!
This weekend we went with the Roomies to the Beach.
Gru has put the word out that all off this is his…you may borrow his beach for a fee.
It was too cold to go down to the water but after the Nor’easter we got a week ago Homie was shocked that the beach looked this good.
Jeff the Clone declared this beach superior to his visit to Tatooine. That was like Death Valley. No fun!
Jeff the Clone has decided this is his new house. Until Gru explained that it is on his beach, thus, it his domain.
Jimmy and Eddie discuss why they’ve been angry that none of their travels have been included on the blog. These guys are super famous and stuff.
Don’t you people know who we are! We are the drunk guys who gave you the California Trip of 2012!!!!
So in our neighborhood we got 22.4″ of snow from Jonas. I still think it’s stupid they name the storms. Now nobody will want a friend named Jonas because that a-hole dropped 2-3′ of snow on the east coast!
I think that Homie needs a smaller shovel. It do give him props for giving it a try though 😉
I was Bjorn of the mountain. Really there were mountains of snow everywhere after the plows came through. Crazy stuff this Nor’easter business.
We decided to have some fun sliding down the hill. It would be sledding if someone remembered to bring the sled. I’m not pointing fingers but you’ll recognize him from his thumbs up…BUDDY!
Homie says he enjoys snow so much more now than when he was a garden gnome/elf. He’s a big fan of keeping dry and being warm. We all survived and the next storm to come our way has been changed to a passing rain shower so no more shoveling for a bit. YAY!!!
It’s still a bit cold in our part of the globe but we all got excited when we saw the flowers starting to bloom. It meant that Spring was springing!
Thad loved the daffodils!
Ingrid always loves going to the arboretum. It reminds her so much of Norway and the Fjords and forests.
Even with the cooler weather how could one not enjoy such an outing?
So much fun. I hope you get to go out and smell the flowers too!
Bjorn sister has come to town and she’s liking it so much she has decided to stay. I’m just an elf/gnome so I’m always a little leery of new comers but I sure do like her. She’s such a sweet gal from the forest.
She arrived just as we were having our 17th snow fall of the season. It may be mathematically spring but the snow makes me think that Winter just doesn’t want to let go.
Luckily for the Roomie it was more a “pretty” snow than a messy one.
I love spring like most folks but I’m going to miss the beauty that snow offers. It’s like the paint to the canvas of a landscape painting. The warmth will be nice but from this old Elf/Gnome each season brings with it new possibilities, new beauties and new adventures. I’m glad Ingrid is going to stick around to share all this with us 🙂
Patches O’Hurley couldn’t wait to get this day started. Doing the Irish Jig is his favorite dance so today he is ready to breakout his tap shoes and start Jigging!
It snowed this morning but the boys feel certain it won’t hinder the festivities planned for later! Come on people…go get your IRISH ON!!!
Just in from the Irish Government…Americans Suck and can’t spell. Being American Elves/Gnomes we are part of that suckage and have fixed the faux pas. Happy St. Paddy’s Day…y’all!!!
Thad is a quiet Elf but is more fun that Fun Bobby.
Sometimes he gives his friend a lift for no apparent reason.
Sometimes he helps the FNGs get used to his new surroundings.
Sometimes he just likes to hang out with the Poets and share stories of the old days. Thad is one Elf you can count on to brighten up your day!
So all the talk of Robin Sparkles has led to this moment…
An evening of playing “Mall Madness”! To quote Scotty…BOOM!
The Roomies were securing the summer rental this past weekend and we got to tag along. The Beach looked inviting!
China loved the warmth of the sun.
Bow, Elenor and Cookie were sunning themselves on the bench.
We drove around town. It was so quiet, not like the hustle and bustle of the Summer months.
Homie loved the “protecting” the local leprechaun.
The Roomie changed the lyrics to the Robin Sparkles song “Lets Go To The Mall” with “Lets Go To The Shore” and then sang it for hours. Now I can’t get that silly ditty out of my head. Ugh!
Anywho…can’t wait for the Summer to start 🙂
