I love the beach but do not get to visit it often.
It’s fabulous here under the umbrella.
Being a woodland creature for the most part I’ve found the beach life to be very nice indeed. The Ocean was perfect and I had plenty of shade under this umbrella!
Being an Irish Fairy Phinn didn’t take off his coat. He didn’t want to get sunburned.
This was another successful vacation at the Jersey shore for the lot of us. Good times, food, family and fun!
We’ll see you Wildwood Crest in 2014!
This year the roomie, the Fairies and Bean went to see Lucy the Elephant in Margate, New Jersey. I have to say…that’s one GIANT Elephant.
She has survived for over 100 years and is an amazing sight to behold.
Inside she is a museum but she has housed many other things in her great history from a residence to a bar.
Thankfully the locals kept Lucy alive after she fell into disrepair. She got a total rehab and is now an historical landmark in New Jersey!
The view from the top of Lucy was spectacular. She’s not your standard museum. If you are in Margate, New Jersey go and give her a hug. Tell them The Fairies sent ya!
The Fairies were in town yo! Being that we are similar to elves in that we look like them and have pointy ears like them we decided when we were on vacation to visit “Christmas Town”.
This place was a lot of fun and a Fairy can really let loose here!
Phin thought it was hysterical to have a Giant Santa Claus in a tree. He’s easily amused, lol.
It was a really nice day and what can I say…I love me some Fairy Magic!
We got to have a day of frolic at our friend Chestnut’s house.
He has this wonderful pool. Nothing says summertime like swimming and hanging out with friends.
Chardonnay got to catch up with Chris over a bottle of wine and then they both noticed that Phin had fallen down.
Phin is always falling down and he’s quite the photo bomber.
Everyone had fun. It was like old Fairies week and everyone got a chance to dance with Phinneas because that’s what he does…dances, lol.
I got to go the family Graduation party for the Roomie’s niece!
The cake was very tasty and of course I brought my own wine cause I’m cool like that. Aren’t they just the cutest!
Congratulations Alyssa! Bonne chance!
We traveled over to Millville, New Jersey to visit a place called Wheaton Village.
It was a hot day but all of these trees made it palatable.
They make pottery and blow their own glass. It was very hot in the kiln but pretty awesome to watch. (p.s. This sculpture looks nothing like me!)
Okay this one might look a little like me 🙂
It was an informative trip and a lovely day to just sashay about the compound. You should totally check it out if you live near New Jersey. The month of July is free admission!
I was hanging out with the Roomies while Bjorn is a Gad about town and I came across this lovely little man who had a great smile.
I was chatting with him for what was several minutes at least when it was brought to my attention that this fine fellow was actually cardboard and not a celebrity. Oh silly me.
On another front…I’m scheduled for a CT-Scan…wish me luck!
