Fish I told you not to play with Joshua. You saw the movie, right?
He seems really excited about playing with Joshua. Boxtrolls are too trusting. I pulled the plug. So no Global Thermal nuclear war today Joshua.
Winter Storm Quiana dropped about 3″ on our part of town.
It was really pretty and a feathery type of snow. Easy to shovel.
We watched The Roomies shovel. We didn’t help…just watched, lol.
When you are only 2″ tall the 3″ of snow can be a little dice. Eddie said he was too cold for this fracking stuff.
The only one really prepared for the snow was RBG. It’s because she’s super brilliant.
We have this little sort of Book Club with The Roomie. Mostly she reads to us and we comment on what she’s reading. Right now she is reading”Nightshift” by the master of horror literature, Mr. Stephen King.
She says she can only read this book during daylight hours. I totally get that! This book is a collection of short stories written by Stephen King over the years and published as a book. It reminded us all of his other collection “Different Seasons”
The Roomie’s night time book is Philip Roth’s “The Plot Against America”.
I’m pretty sure this story is just as scary as Night Shift!
She also informed us that her vacation read this year is also a Stephen King thriller…IT! So no sleeping during holiday either, lol.
In honor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel’s upcoming wedding we decided to have fun with Photo Booth accessories. Well, the Roomie’s photo booth accessories, lol.
It’s been fun and we all will gather around the TV tomorrow to watch the nuptials.
Except Mr. Nigel Murray and Alistair. Being British themselves they could care less, lol.
It will be fun. The Roomie hasn’t missed a Royal Wedding since Diana/Charles in the 80’s, lol.
The skies were angry and windy last night. Thank goodness The Roomie went and voted right after work. Although, a rainstorm didn’t stop her from voting last time when it poured rain. The sky looked amazing at times.
The rains were heavy and our street looked like a river for about an hour. We didn’t lose power so the whole group was excited by that because there was a Chopped Marathon on the Food Network!
Homie used to live outside so this storm was nothing compared to some of the Nor’Easters he had to live through. He thought it was pretty too. At least the humidity went away and cooler temperatures made it easier to sleep 🙂
