Wentz is stoked about Christmas Day Football!
Who is ready for some Christmas Cookies? We are, We are!!!!
We went with the Roomie to see ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the historic Walnut Street Theater.
Mr. Nigel Murray loves the theater. He said it reminded him of his days in London.
We all wondered if he wore clothing in London? It’s not a question one just blurts out and he wasn’t being forth coming.
Pablo gave the show 12 nubs up! He was loving the songs and chuckling along like the rest of us. It was a wonderful day In Town. We are all starting to feel the Christmas spirit! God Bless us Everyone!
It is with sad heart that after 12 years of travel and adventure Bjorn Maelstrom is being forced to retire. This weekend saw his worst injury today.
While visiting Historic Hope Lodge to ring in the fun Christmas Season Bjorn suffered another radical amputation. If you follow his travels you know that he’s lost both hands, his tail, his nose and his hair due to many individual circumstances. This time he has lost his arm. He is running out of parts to fall off.
So for his future safety and under much protest the old boy is now shelf bound. His family and friends will keep up the travels and adventures but for the foreseeable future Bjorn will be a quiet old man in retirement 😦 This makes us all sad since he was the one who started it all. Hang in there our Norwegian friend.
Every year the Roomie reads us Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol”.
It’s an old-timer kind of tradition but we humor her.
Fear got all scared because there were ghosts in the story. No matter how much we tried to assuage him it was for naught. The little dude is destined to be afraid of everything. I guess that’s why his name is Fear.
It’s been a busy Holiday Season for us Elves and friends of Bjorn.
Christmas was fun. We have some new Elves, Gnomes and assortment of Creatures living with us now. It’s a little crowded but as the Roomie has always said…There is always enough room to help out others! This was my first Christmas and New Years with the group and let me tell you it was so much fun.
We partied like Rock Stars on NYE! We had a comfy fire in the fireplace going and Ryan Seacrest pretending to be as awesome as Dick Clark on TV watching the Ball Drop in Times Square.
I was texting all my friends wishing them a Happy and Safe 2014!
Last night we got a snow storm that brought us 8″ of snow. It was very pretty and extremely cold. I’m just thankful I’m not living outside in the Garden anymore. Nights like this weren’t fun back then.
I wasn’t paying attention to the frolicking going on around me and found myself on the receiving end of a snowball to the face. All is good though. I wiped myself off and jumping into the festivities!
After our play we all went in for cups of tea and hot chocolate. It was a good time.
Bjorn and all of his mates wish you and yours a very Happy and Healthy 2014!!!
We went to Longwood Gardens with the Roomies this weekend. It was spectacular.
The trees, poinsettia, orchids and the apple lane were spectacular. We also got to sing carols with the 39th largest organ in the world playing for us.
Night arrived and the lights came on. It is quite a sight to behold. Thad and I are really feeling the Christmas Spirit now!
The Roomie had that unfortunate Christmas Tree debacle last year where they wrestled and the Christmas Tree won and then suffered a career ending injury. So this year she got a new tree that is very much like the old one. Started out like Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree and turned into a Festivus miracle!
This year’s tree topper is a snowman. 2013 appears to be the year of the Snowman…I like it!
Hey…look…there is another one!
Even though I’m not a “Santa” Elf I sure do look good glowing in lights!
Being an elf one must be creative when trying to hang lights. It’s like being McGuyver sometimes but I nailed the lights over the door. They all work and more importantly I had a festive and jolly time decorating with the Roomies. Good time had by all!
