The Roomie heard about the Air Victory Museum last summer but this is the first chance we’ve had to see it.
The Summer of Barry continues with this museum. They had a piece of the 911 site and an exhibit to the tragedy of 911. It is a part of American History now. It brought up sorrow but it was an important exhibit.
There were many planes. Model Planes and some helicopters.
Buddy is a history lover from way, way back. There were exhibits for Amelia Earhart and the Hindenberg Disaster.
Barry was thinking how cool it would be to fly one of these jets. Fast and Furious….mach 3 style!
When we left we headed over to Mt. Holly, NJ for some lunch. Jimmy and Eddie found the food amazing and the beer even more amazing, lol!
So I haven’t really had much time this week to do a lot. I took some snapchats with The Roomie. That was fun.
For some reason I think I look like Jerry Garcia. Weird, right?
Someone told me this week I look like this guy…I’m flattered because he’s awesome but I’m not really sure I look like the Former President of the United States. I mean we both like blue ties but that’s where it ends 😉
I miss the beach very much. I know vacation is a ways off but I hope we get to go back and see the beach before then. I’m miss the ocean. True Story.
Even though we are home we keep looking at the pictures. It was that much fun. Well minus the Seaweed Attack…and hurricane (that didn’t happen).
Eddie and Jimmy walked all along the beach getting inspiration for their next writing project. Jimmy was all “Can I Kelp You?”, he’s really not that funny.
The gang went to the book store because the weather folks were droning on about a possible low-level hurricane named Hermine. Mr. Nigel Murray thought it was named that because it was Harry Potter Weekend on Freeform. Apparently it’s the French pronunciation. Um…right.
Jimmy was only looking for how many copies of his books were in stock. Eddie he was looking to blow this Popsicle stand and head to the Tappy.
Later both decided to enjoy the view before the hurricane hit. Or in this case didn’t hit but they didn’t know that at the time.
Jimmy and Eddie always love the beach. However, Jimmy seems to always find himself in a pickle.
The water had a lot of jellyfish and seaweed today but it didn’t mute out everyone’s good times. Pablo wanted to show even Prawns can get into the beach hilarity!
Jeff looks like a true Hollywood leading man in this picture. He’s used to the desert but like this sand much better than Tatooine, lol.
Good times had by everyone. The weather was stellar this day. Even The King of Prawn’s need some sunscreen 😉
The guys miss the beach as much as the Roomie.
So Buddy was a little confused when he went to the beach and the footprints were already in the sand.
I’m sure he secretly knew who’s footprints these belong to but he was keeping his peace. Buddy gave it a BIG thumbs up!
This weekend we went with the Roomies to the Beach.
Gru has put the word out that all off this is his…you may borrow his beach for a fee.
It was too cold to go down to the water but after the Nor’easter we got a week ago Homie was shocked that the beach looked this good.
Jeff the Clone declared this beach superior to his visit to Tatooine. That was like Death Valley. No fun!
Jeff the Clone has decided this is his new house. Until Gru explained that it is on his beach, thus, it his domain.
Jimmy and Eddie discuss why they’ve been angry that none of their travels have been included on the blog. These guys are super famous and stuff.
Don’t you people know who we are! We are the drunk guys who gave you the California Trip of 2012!!!!
I love to sight see more than my roommates. I went with Bantley to the Lighthouse at Hereford. It was really neat. The gardens were beautiful. The views from the top of the lighthouse were amazing and the view of the ocean was perfect!
When we were in Cape May we went to see the Firehouse. It’s a free exhibit (so you know I’m in). Lots of history there. Also the Roomie was thrilled there was a cut out fireman to stick her face in. She’s a weirdo.
Although, when we went to the Aviation Museum I did stick my face in the astronaut. So many cool things this summer. I wonder what’s going on this fall!
So Bantley went on his first Vacation ever and he seemed to like it. Here he is smiling.
The beach was lovely and he got to hang out with his friends.
He even went sightseeing.
It was a great time. He was making friends everywhere he went. There was this lovely Frenchman who thought he was a celebrity but found out that Bantley was just a fun loving Troll with a penchant to having his photo taken.
He is one handsome Troll. Sure not as good looking as me but then again…who is? I’m Bjorn Maelstrom and I’m hysterical! Wait till you see what Homie was up to on vacation.
It’s not a regular time when a bunch of the Maelstrom’s are in town for a group vacation. This year we lucked out.
A Family Portrait at the Beach (Boone, Ingrid, Bjorn, Arvid and Nils).
The weather was perfect and the water was refreshing. Being Nordic we tend to like the weather colder but even the heat of the summer could dampen our fun.
Nils was all over the place. This was his first trip to a beach ever. He doesn’t speak much English but he was having a blast!
We are a fun bunch that much is true about the Maelstroms!!
Ingrid did a lot of sightseeing on her own. She loves all the tourist things like Museums and such. Here she is at the Cape May Firehouse Museum.
She also made it to the Aviation Museum. She said we missed a great time. You can get in the vehicles and play with the equipment. I definitely need to visit this one! I love touching stuff!
We got to go to the beach last weekend which we’ve been sorely lacking this year. It was cloudy and windy but you know what…It was AWESOME!
It was Bantley’s first trip to the beach. It was smiling the whole time.
Bjorn Loves the beach and can’t wait to get back there. Even though there are seagulls.
I was trying to be creative with the Lifeguards in this picture. I’m wild like that!
We all can’t wait to go back! See you soon Ocean!
