I was a busy Gnome yesterday. First we hit the Art Museum.
Some of my distant cousins. The Belschnikel and Norwegian Santa.
My favorite was the Rotunda. So many wonderful local artist showing their talents.
Afterward we hit up the Grocery Store for some tasty vittles before the Eagles Game. The Birds beat the Bears 16 – 15. It was a heartbreak lost in the final moments for the Bears but now the Eagles move on to the Saints next weekend. Fly Eagles Fly!
We went with the Roomie to the Chestnut Hill Fall Festival. It felt more like Summer Festival than Fall. The temperatures were a sweltering 90+ which made the Roomie melt.
It was a lot of fun even with the heat. We just need Fall to kick in with it’s wonderfully cool temperatures.
I might not have a cool name like Jack Skellington but I got my pumpkinishous on! Elliott Pumpkinton is a fine name. Maybe I will be come famous because of this blog. I told this to the Roomie and she laughed…like a lot. I’m too fabulous not to be famous…just saying.
The CH Garden Festival was in full swing yesterday even though it rained. It was still a good day!
Real flowers against art = Awesomeness!
The Roomies bought some new Fairy Houses for the multitudes that have gathered at our house. J is all like “the more the merrier” but that’s because she doesn’t have to share a bathroom with the merrier. I’m just grumpy today.
Bjorn digging the stroll.
Ingrid had a blast. This was her first Garden Festival. She enjoyed the May pole Dancers the most. She said it really reminded her of visiting Teddy in Germany in the Spring 🙂
The crowds eventually showed up and the weather cleared up and we went on to your next activity. It was a good day 🙂
This weekend we headed out to the Fall Arts Festival in a nearby village. It was quite the scene.
Thad was getting a little stir crazy since he’s been on the mend so I thought it was a good idea to get outside.
I’ve lived most of my life amongst the Gnomes even though I’m an elf so hanging out with Thad this weekend was pretty cool. He’s a former Santa Helper (retired) so usually he’s too busy in the fall to do stuff and was loving every minute of the Fall Festival!
It’s been unusually warm of late but I hear that might change.
Even with the heat it’s a wonderful time of a year! Another Autumn adventure for the books!
