The Roomie, Mrs. Roomie and I went to dinner at The Boathouse with some of Mrs. Roomie’s friends. The food and conversation were delightful.
It was Wing Night so free pitcher with every order! #winning!
The Roomie likes to read. I like to read. We are symbiotic. We share many of the same traits. I’m not a joiner or usually social. Reading is great because I gain insight and knowledge about a specific or multitudes of topics. The best part I don’t have to talk with anyone 🙂
We are currently reading the same book. My Life In France by Julia Child. It’s not easy sharing a book. Luckily she goes to work and I get to hang out and read or do other fun stuff like play Star Trek. This is easy for me because I live with some of the characters of Star Trek. So yay me!
The Roomie is very much into Julia Child and cooking shows in general. Like so many things we are both enjoying this book very much. I keep asking why she’s not cooking something for us all and she says, ‘I’m not a real chef’. I think she should try playing “Chef” and see how it goes, Bazinga!
YoStich and I had a wonderful lightsaber duel. It was fun. No one really fences anymore. Twenty-First Century fencing is the best!
It was so warm outside (In the 60’s) that I was able to have my coffee on the back deck. Just lovely.
The Roomie bought these wonderfully juicy oranges. So yummy!
It was a good day.
The Roomie is a big fan of Crockpot Cooking. Why? No one really understands.
Edgar loves to cook. Again, no one knows why but he likes it.
Edgar also likes his new car. He got it wholesale after the toy gang “The Bratz” were disbanded. He’s already learning about Tailgating. He doesn’t really have the a solid grasp of the concept but he’s getting there.
The one thing The Roomie has said about Edgar…He’s made himself at home quickly. That’s a great thing around these parts. We have so many travelers come and go around here. We are like a Hostel for Toys.
