It was a very busy weekend. I hope all the Mom’s out there enjoyed their day! Brava!
The Roomie had a funeral on Saturday and needed 30 minutes to decompress before her next activity on this very active weekend. I love that she loves the Morris Arboretum. The sun came out for a few hours so this was the best time to visit. The brook was babbling, the early spring flowers were flowering and the fish were swimming. Who else would we spend this time with but Mother Nature 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day Mother.
We spent some time with Cady at her house. It was fun. She has all kinds of stuff to use as backgrounds for pictures…
I got to hang from a Fork all McGuyver Style!
They have this killer lamp. The Roomie loves things like this lantern. I think it reminds her of The Guiding Light 🙂
I have Antlers…HA HA HA!
She also has this really comfy chair. It’s a little far from the TV but wicked comfy 🙂
We went to Mom’s for dinner and it was delicious. Happy Mother’s Day Mom!
The evening ended on a very sad note. Our beloved 76ers lost in the playoffs. It’s been a great season and we look forward to what next season brings.
After having a snooze on the sofa she then celebrated the Naming of Baby Sussex. Welcome to the world Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. It’s hard having a hyphenated name let alone one this long. Archie is cute though 🙂
She put on a little fashion show and then watched some Match Game 75. It’s one of her favorite shows.
Thing is was time to say good by to her imaginary friends from 1975 and head to the office for work.
It was a long day but a sunny one.
Miranda took some time to smell the flowers and enjoy “Deck Time” before The Roomie order out dinner of wings and fries for everyone! She watched Survivor and then fell asleep. It was a long joyful day for Miranda!
I’m so proud of my Great-Great Grandfather who was created in 1823. He became a very famous fellow from a book that was supposedly based on his life. Really it’s just a work of fiction. He never murdered anyone. Later on My Grandfather played him in the movie version of this work of fiction. It made him a huge star.
I’m proud of my families accomplishments. What have I done in my life time? I’m a free thinker, traveler and just try to be the nicest version of myself I can be. Really, it’s a that matters 🙂
