We Welcomed A Smiski This Weekend

This is the first Smiski we’ve ever had at the house.  She doesn’t speak so we named her Xan.  We aren’t very sure what a Smiski is but she looks like a ghost and glows in the dark so we are going with that for now.

We went out for Chinese food for dinner in honor of Xan and also to celebrate the Eagles victory yesterday!

Xan always looks a little sad but I think that is just how she looks all of the time.

We took her into Town.  She, like The Roomie are not fans of going into the City at night.

Eddie was showing her around the house and the sets.  He tried to get her to say “boo” but since she doesn’t speak she had no response, lol.

Welcome to the House Xan.  We hope you stay for a long while 🙂

We Celebrate The Eagles Victory

The Roomie only stayed awake for the first quarter of the Eagles vs. Packers game.  We enjoyed the rest.  It was almost a loss but at the buzzer the Eagles held their lead 34/27.

Little Frankie approved!

Fear was scared through the entire game.  He almost lost his taco chips, lol.

Pookie Noodlin is chill and just ready for the weekend.  Smile Pookie the Eagles have 10 days off.  She said, quiet I’m eating my donut.  So she is excited football has begun 🙂

Miranda’s Weekend Adventure

It was a very busy weekend.  I hope all the Mom’s out there enjoyed their day!  Brava!

The Roomie had a funeral on Saturday and needed 30 minutes to decompress before her next activity on this very active weekend.  I love that she loves the Morris Arboretum.  The sun came out for a few hours so this was the best time to visit.  The brook was babbling, the early spring flowers were flowering and the fish were swimming.  Who else would we spend this time with but Mother Nature 🙂  Happy Mother’s Day Mother.

We spent some time with Cady at her house.  It was fun.  She has all kinds of stuff to use as backgrounds for pictures…

I got to hang from a Fork all McGuyver Style!

They have this killer lamp.  The Roomie loves things like this lantern.  I think it reminds her of The Guiding Light 🙂

I have Antlers…HA HA HA!

She also has this really comfy chair.  It’s a little far from the TV but wicked comfy 🙂

We went to Mom’s for dinner and it was delicious.  Happy Mother’s Day Mom!

The evening ended on a very sad note.  Our beloved 76ers lost in the playoffs.  It’s been a great season and we look forward to what next season brings.

It’s Art

I was a busy Gnome yesterday.  First we hit the Art Museum.

Some of my distant cousins.  The Belschnikel and Norwegian Santa.

My favorite was the Rotunda.  So many wonderful local artist showing their talents.

Afterward we hit up the Grocery Store for some tasty vittles before the Eagles Game.  The Birds beat the Bears 16 – 15.  It was a heartbreak lost in the final moments for the Bears but now the Eagles move on to the Saints next weekend.  Fly Eagles Fly!

Fly Eagles Fly!

It’s a big Wildcard game for our Philadelphia Eagles this weekend.

Our crew is ready to cheer on St. Nicky Foles to bring us a big victory!

We won the Super Bowl last year and this year has been a bit of a struggle for the Birds.

We are facing a big game against the Bears but We believe in Nicky 6!

Patches O’Hurley is sure that they will put up one heck of a Philly Phight!

FLY EAGLES FLY!!!
