We all piled into the Family Truckster for a trip to the Jersey Shore.
The Roomies got a house for vacation. It’s by the bay, WAHOO!!!
It was so cold on the beach. This is as close as we got because of the cold, rain and wind, lol.
We also went to Tuckahoe for their world famous Cheese Cake. OMG…it was so creamy!!!
It was a great trip!

Well Winter Storm Petra blew into town this week. The Roomies got out early from work. They said it would have been cooler if were an actual snow day, lol.
We got about 3″ before it turned to freezing rain and then rain.
The Roomie was leaving for the day and then realized she forgot something. She turned around and took this photo. We all got a laugh.
We all survived and contrary to popular belief…no one had french toast, HA HA HA!

It’s like The Wire but not those kinds of wires and with out drugs or guns or Michael B. Jordan.
Wireless is so 21st Century. So why aren’t we wireless?
Fixed it. Back to work!
Winter Storm Maya is just a mess. Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain, Rain and back again. It’s been a messy disgusting day.
We all thought this would have been a mostly rain event. It wasn’t.
This winter has been weird. Too much rain, not enough actual snow and below zero temps to 70 degree temps. Not the wild ride we enjoy 😦
We took the child to
Legoland this weekend. No not The Roomie, although I understand the confusion. The actual child, lol.
This place was super cool. The structures were large enough that I could live in one of them, lol.
I fell in the Lego pit by accident. Tom Ato jumped in like it was a ball pit. That gent is a little soft in the head.
We all had a lot of fun. Including
The Roomie and the child 😉
This weekend we all went to the Mercer Museum and Henry Chapman Mercer’s home Fontill Castle.
So much history in two amazing locations.
The Museum itself houses thousands of items that represent the trades of the by-gone era. The Tanner’s tools, Coaches/Toll Roads and they even have a Gallows on the top floor in the Crime and Punishment exhibit.
Fonthill Castle was the home built and designed by Henry Mercer for himself. It showcases his tile and stone collections from round the world. There are many oddities and tiles that depict stories like those of Charles Dickens and the travels of Columbus.
His home at the time was a Castle but with Modern conveniences like central heating, bell systems and electricity.
A really neat please to explore.

We have more daylight these days which we all love. This was our sunset after the storm had finally let up.
Pretty soon we will be able to do some things in the daylight after 5pm, lol.
