So in our neighborhood we got 22.4″ of snow from Jonas. I still think it’s stupid they name the storms. Now nobody will want a friend named Jonas because that a-hole dropped 2-3′ of snow on the east coast!
I think that Homie needs a smaller shovel. It do give him props for giving it a try though 😉
I was Bjorn of the mountain. Really there were mountains of snow everywhere after the plows came through. Crazy stuff this Nor’easter business.
We decided to have some fun sliding down the hill. It would be sledding if someone remembered to bring the sled. I’m not pointing fingers but you’ll recognize him from his thumbs up…BUDDY!
Homie says he enjoys snow so much more now than when he was a garden gnome/elf. He’s a big fan of keeping dry and being warm. We all survived and the next storm to come our way has been changed to a passing rain shower so no more shoveling for a bit. YAY!!!
Bjorn has now visited 19 of the 50 States in the USA. He’s working hard to make it all 50. This trip was to Ohio. Specifically the Cleveland area of Ohio. We started off with a trip to ‘A Christmas Story House’.
It was a lot of fun! The house was staged just like the movie…right down to the Lifeboy Soap in the bathroom!
Bjorn was running around the house with the Red Ryder BB gun. It was funny. I kept telling him to be careful not to ‘shoot his eye out’.
It was an awesome trip. Bjorn told the Roomie to give it 5 circles on Trip Advisor!
I love to sight see more than my roommates. I went with Bantley to the Lighthouse at Hereford. It was really neat. The gardens were beautiful. The views from the top of the lighthouse were amazing and the view of the ocean was perfect!
When we were in Cape May we went to see the Firehouse. It’s a free exhibit (so you know I’m in). Lots of history there. Also the Roomie was thrilled there was a cut out fireman to stick her face in. She’s a weirdo.
Although, when we went to the Aviation Museum I did stick my face in the astronaut. So many cool things this summer. I wonder what’s going on this fall!
The CH Garden Festival was in full swing yesterday even though it rained. It was still a good day!
Real flowers against art = Awesomeness!
The Roomies bought some new Fairy Houses for the multitudes that have gathered at our house. J is all like “the more the merrier” but that’s because she doesn’t have to share a bathroom with the merrier. I’m just grumpy today.
Bjorn digging the stroll.
Ingrid had a blast. This was her first Garden Festival. She enjoyed the May pole Dancers the most. She said it really reminded her of visiting Teddy in Germany in the Spring 🙂
The crowds eventually showed up and the weather cleared up and we went on to your next activity. It was a good day 🙂
