The Day Before Halloween

Our month of Halloween frolicking is quickly coming to an end.

Temperance the Ghost is all about squeezing in just a few more Halloween Movies.  Her favorite is of course, Ghostbusters.

Nell, the former Eleanor Prentice, had a good laugh with the local villagers.  She stole their pitchfork, lol.

These two Halloweenies were having a blast today.  Nellie stole a lollipop from the Lollipop Guild.  Dorothy didn’t drop a house on her sister but solidarity, you know.

These girls are a hoot mostly all of the time.  But during the Halloween season…forget about it!  That’s what The Roomie always says 🙂

Scarecrows

The Roomie took us to Peddler’s Village for the Scarecrow Festival.  It was a misty day but we made the best of it.

Edgar said he now gets why The Roomie loves Autumn the most.

The colors were amazing.  As Gnomes we appreciate a beautiful garden.

We all had a great time 🙂

The Best Garden In Town

The Roomie has a special place that she loves more than other places.  It’s the Morris Arboretum.  She will take us with her sometimes when she goes for a quick visit on her lunch break.  Today she wanted to see the Milkweed Pods because she thought they had opened.

Some of them had and some were just starting to open.  She said they remind her of her childhood and making wishes.

She said we would come here every day if she could make that work out.  Naughty Bit liked that idea very much.  We all loved that idea a lot.  Of course we did, we are gnomes.  Some of us prefer the local gardens, some of us prefer the farm and others prefer all of the gardens.  The Roomie just likes the serenity the gardens offer.

We all hope you got to make wishes today too.  And we hope they all come true 🙂

Rain Creates Housing Boom…News At Eleven

Naughty Bit found this Mushroom that could be a potential weekend cottage.

There has been an excessive amount of rain in the Neighborhood.  This is causing a large growth of fungi.  The Gnomes rejoice in potential housing!  The Roomie isn’t as excited about the mushrooms all over the lawn.  It’s a mushroom paradox.
