Watching Disney Movies

Disney movies are so colorful. This one was from Mickey and the Beanstalk.

It was okay.  The Roomie is more a Sleeping Beauty kind of castle movie.

Red’s is just stoked that there were axes in it.  Also, he loves that you can throw axes for entertainment.  They serve beer there…which is weird, right?

Trixie just wanted to watch The Incredibles 2.  She loves, loves, loves Edna Mode!

Winter Storm Quiana

Winter Storm Quiana dropped about 3″ on our part of town.

It was really pretty and a feathery type of snow.  Easy to shovel.

We watched The Roomies shovel.  We didn’t help…just watched, lol.

When you are only 2″ tall the 3″ of snow can be a little dice.  Eddie said he was too cold for this fracking stuff.

The only one really prepared for the snow was RBG.  It’s because she’s super brilliant.

To The Shore!

We all piled into the Family Truckster for a trip to the Jersey Shore.

The Roomies got a house for vacation.  It’s by the bay, WAHOO!!!

It was so cold on the beach.  This is as close as we got because of the cold, rain and wind, lol.

We also went to Tuckahoe for their world famous Cheese Cake.  OMG…it was so creamy!!!

It was a great trip!

Winter Storm Petra

Well Winter Storm Petra blew into town this week.  The Roomies got out early from work.  They said it would have been cooler if were an actual snow day, lol.

We got about 3″ before it turned to freezing rain and then rain.

The Roomie was leaving for the day and then realized she forgot something.  She turned around and took this photo.  We all got a laugh.

We all survived and contrary to popular belief…no one had french toast, HA HA HA!

The Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle

This weekend we all went to the Mercer Museum and Henry Chapman Mercer’s home Fontill Castle.

So much history in two amazing locations.

The Museum itself houses thousands of items that represent the trades of the by-gone era.  The Tanner’s tools, Coaches/Toll Roads and they even have a Gallows on the top floor in the Crime and Punishment exhibit.

Fonthill Castle was the home built and designed by Henry Mercer for himself.  It showcases his tile and stone collections from round the world.  There are many oddities and tiles that depict stories like those of Charles Dickens and the travels of Columbus.

His home at the time was a Castle but with Modern conveniences like central heating, bell systems and electricity.

A really neat please to explore.
