Easter Weekend Has Begun

Today is Good Friday.  This Weekend is the biggest for Little Frankie.

It’s a dark and stormy day.

The group is preparing for Easter Sunday.  It’s both a religious day for some and a candy day for others.

No matter how you spend your weekend.  Have a wonderful time and remember to be nice to creatures large, small or magical.

4 Nor’Easters – Say Hello To Toby

There has been a lot of snow this winter…now spring!

Toby was the latest storm and he dropped about 10″ of snow on us yesterday.

It’s still fun to go out and play in it.

Home and Chipper were becoming fast friends.  Homie’s been a little camera-shy recently but we did get a snap of him.  Just look at that smile!

Freezie was on Facebook gloating about besting his brother again.  I’d say is gloating wasn’t working because it’s pretty warm outside right now so Heat is fighting back!  Spring needs some help these days so I’m team Heat!

Winter Storms Polly and Quinn – Snomaggedon

Let’s all take time to welcome our new Lithuanian Troll Elsa.  Ellie is fun and wild and awesome all at once!  The Roomie was completely out of control with Ellie!

Winter Storm Polly knocked us for a loop on Friday!  It was just crazy cold, windy, rainy and snowy.  Too much weather all at once.

Mr. Nigel Murray said his cousins emailed him from the UK and they also have been having nasty weather.  Chipper just was looking for an adventure!

Bjorn told him the adventure was he could shovel out the Roomie’s car.  Yeah…he stopped smiling, lol.

He got some chopped wood from what appears to be from his cousin David’s Lumber company.  Well we are all preparing for round two with Winter Storm Quinn.  Wish us luck.

Sprinter?

Thanks to the Hoax (not) that is climate change our winter weather patterns aren’t exactly average.

So first it was 59 degrees.  We had a little rain.

Then it clear up.  It was 40 degrees and sunny.  We all got outside because the weather folks said it was going to snow.

The sky was blue and the sun shining high in the sky, gorgeous!

It started snowing just a few hours later.  It was a beautiful snow.  It clung to the trees and grass to paint such a wonderful winter landscape!

Bjorn was loving the snow.  We’ve had a lot of rain but not so heavy on the snow.  Being Norwegian and loving the Winter Olympics he is loving this little taste of the season 🙂

Happy Little Trees, Happy Little Smithers

There is something to be said for Bob Ross and his quiet way of speaking.  He’s so calm.

I love watching him perform his magic.

We all do get a kick out of the notion anyone can make a happy little tree.  Seriously Bob…I’m pretty sure I can’t make a tree and has nothing to do with the fact I only have three fingers and a thumb. HA HA HA.

It Might Be Autumn…or Summer

We went outside.  I’m not sure why because it was 85 degrees.  It’s been more like July than October recently.

Johnny and Elliott got to spend some time in the Cornfield.  It was much like visiting work on your day off.

Brody and Melvin are enjoying October and the Farm even if it is like summer.

Elmer wanted to know where the maze and cider were?  It wasn’t that kind of farm today.  Maybe this weekend!
