Miranda’s Weekend Adventure

It was a very busy weekend.  I hope all the Mom’s out there enjoyed their day!  Brava!

The Roomie had a funeral on Saturday and needed 30 minutes to decompress before her next activity on this very active weekend.  I love that she loves the Morris Arboretum.  The sun came out for a few hours so this was the best time to visit.  The brook was babbling, the early spring flowers were flowering and the fish were swimming.  Who else would we spend this time with but Mother Nature 🙂  Happy Mother’s Day Mother.

We spent some time with Cady at her house.  It was fun.  She has all kinds of stuff to use as backgrounds for pictures…

I got to hang from a Fork all McGuyver Style!

They have this killer lamp.  The Roomie loves things like this lantern.  I think it reminds her of The Guiding Light 🙂

I have Antlers…HA HA HA!

She also has this really comfy chair.  It’s a little far from the TV but wicked comfy 🙂

We went to Mom’s for dinner and it was delicious.  Happy Mother’s Day Mom!

The evening ended on a very sad note.  Our beloved 76ers lost in the playoffs.  It’s been a great season and we look forward to what next season brings.

Miranda’s Busy Day

Mornings are made for ruckus like events!

After having a snooze on the sofa she then celebrated the Naming of Baby Sussex.  Welcome to the world Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.  It’s hard having a hyphenated name let alone one this long.  Archie is cute though 🙂

She put on a little fashion show and then watched some Match Game 75.  It’s one of her favorite shows.

Thing is was time to say good by to her imaginary friends from 1975 and head to the office for work.

It was a long day but a sunny one.

Miranda took some time to smell the flowers and enjoy “Deck Time” before The Roomie order out dinner of wings and fries for everyone!  She watched Survivor and then fell asleep.  It was a long joyful day for Miranda!

Frankie Was Bored

It’s been boring being cooped up recently.  If the weather isn’t just plain awful then The Roomie is battling her arch nemesis RA.  Frankie grabbed her phone and SnapChatted his boredom away, lol.

Frankie also enjoyed some tasty Jello.  He didn’t share with anyone.  Since he’s been dead and re-animated he’s lost all of his manners so we let it slide…for now.

Jeff the Clone is amazed how tall Frankie is compared to everyone else in the house.  It loves it!

These two maroons mugging it up for the camera.  Frankie keeps everyone in stitches.  He literally has his own stitches, HA HA HA.

Harrisburg, PA or Bust

First stop The State Museum of Pennsylvania.  It was amazing.  So much to see.  The exhibits are wonderful.  They have just renovated the Mammal Exhibit and it’s a must see.

From the Feet of William Penn to the Airplanes and PA Turnpike exhibit it was a fun and wild ride!

We went next door to the State Capitol.  The view was amazing.  I could see straight down to the Susquehanna River.  Very Cool!

Harrisburg was great and we all hope to do it again soon 🙂
