While at a Craft Fair at Bensalem High School we all got a chance to see some of the teenagers art on display.
Buddy loves good Art. He likes the weird stuff like Dali and the beautiful works of guys like Monet.
Today he walks us through the many faces of Jesus.
This is the face of Everyday Jesus. White dude extraordinaire. He kind of looks like The Roomie’s brother.
This is Bruce Jenner Jesus. Pre-op of course but could He get any whiter?
Miserable Biblical Jesus. He would never be invited to any of the parties. Just look at him.
Kenny Loggins Jesus is who would get invited to the party. Just look at this version of him smiling from a well done day fishing with his friends! He’s like cool Jesus.
Hollywood Jesus. By far the sexiest of Jesus’. This version of Jesus is beautiful and super cool and drives a Harley, for sure!
Science Jesus is more of an actuality of what Jesus looked like back in the day. Still a handsome dude but I think his hair wouldn’t have been that short.
We all know that Buddy Christ is the best of all the versions of Jesus. Probably because I’m super cool and do the thumbs up all the time. I’m pretty much happy all of the time!
Vinny is a bit of an artist in some circles.
He’s a fan of the blues, the yellows and the oranges.
He’s a fan of his own face, lol.
He’s a fan of other people’s faces too…
Not withstanding…he also has a sense of humor too.
Vinny hopes you all enjoy art. Whether in book, canvas or photography there is so much beauty to enjoy. Take some time to enjoy the view.
Chardonnay seems to be enjoying her foray into becoming a living piece of art. I asked her if this was her ‘Performance Art’. She responded…”Yeah, sure why not”. Followed by laughter. She’s an odd duck be we love her anyway!
We have become “besties” since she moved in. She doesn’t care I’m dead and green and I don’t care she’s always drunk. We are cool like that!
I know that art in itself is subject to what the person viewing it feels and thinks about it.
I’m kind of art snobish I think. I like my art to be Monet, Van Gogh or even Dali, I tend to understand their works but I’m not sure what to get from this snot producing skeleton?
Do I like it? I’m not sure but it is different. What do you all think?
