The Roomie has a special place that she loves more than other places. It’s the Morris Arboretum. She will take us with her sometimes when she goes for a quick visit on her lunch break. Today she wanted to see the Milkweed Pods because she thought they had opened.
Some of them had and some were just starting to open. She said they remind her of her childhood and making wishes.
She said we would come here every day if she could make that work out. Naughty Bit liked that idea very much. We all loved that idea a lot. Of course we did, we are gnomes. Some of us prefer the local gardens, some of us prefer the farm and others prefer all of the gardens. The Roomie just likes the serenity the gardens offer.
We all hope you got to make wishes today too. And we hope they all come true 🙂
The Roomie heard about the Air Victory Museum last summer but this is the first chance we’ve had to see it.
The Summer of Barry continues with this museum. They had a piece of the 911 site and an exhibit to the tragedy of 911. It is a part of American History now. It brought up sorrow but it was an important exhibit.
There were many planes. Model Planes and some helicopters.
Buddy is a history lover from way, way back. There were exhibits for Amelia Earhart and the Hindenberg Disaster.
Barry was thinking how cool it would be to fly one of these jets. Fast and Furious….mach 3 style!
When we left we headed over to Mt. Holly, NJ for some lunch. Jimmy and Eddie found the food amazing and the beer even more amazing, lol!
Being a Troll I’m more about leaves and grasses. So to say I’m a salad person would be spot on. Every once and a blue moon I will branch out of my comfort zone. This was the case for lunch. I ordered a BLT. Really they should have just called it a Bacon Sandwich. This is the bacon I removed from the sandwich.
Bacon is good for what ails you...true story
It might not look all that impressive to you but the guys ate a bunch of it and the other bunch was still on my sandwich 😉
I also tried the Onion Rings. I wasn’t overly impressed and passed them off to the guys because they will eat anything. No really…they will.
Onion Ring Hula Hoop anyone?
Um…did you notice that all my Troll luck was aimed at the Phillies who pulled out a victory in 11 innings? Yeah, that was awesome.
p.s. Still no word from Bjorn. I guess he’s having too good a time to call home. I hate that Troll 😉
