A Day In The Garden

People know that Gnomes love gardens because we like…live in them but this Garden is AMAZING!

Mr. Nigel Murray enjoys outings like this one.  And Homie…well he is an adventurer at heart.  It was all of those years living deep in the garden.

Elsa just loves to take SnapChats so this was a great place to take those pictures and share them with her adoring public….and friends.  Elsa has two friends, lol.

September at the Arboretum

It’s almost Autumn.  We usually don’t start the festivities until October 1st but when you are a Scarecrow, Frankenstein and a ghost all year is Halloweentown time.

This place is like church for the Roomie.  The leaves are starting to change color, which of course we love!

Alice is always one who jump in a photo.  She’s just glad that she comes out in pictures.  Being invisible sometimes has its draw backs, lol.

Elliott and Brody are pleasant chaps.  We always have fun together.  They call us the Ghoul Squad.

We know so many have been dealing with Hurricanes and Tropical Storms so it forced us to get outside and appreciate our local nature.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday like ours!

Everything is Orange or Beige

Today was a grey day with an orangey hue.

Vinny got to do some painting.  It was grey but not rainy at the moment so he was kind of happy about that.

Melvin mostly gets out in the autumn months but he said that this winter is more like October than January.

Bern is feeling the awesomeness of a day well spent outside and at the Morris Arboretum!

Mr. Nigel Murray Moved in Two Days Ago!

So we have a new friend in the group.  His name is Mr. Nigel Murray and  he is an English Troll.

He is fitting in very nicely at the house even though he is naked all of the time.  Hey, it’s how he rolls in the forest.

Bantley took him to Morris Arboretum.  It’s a local place we all like to go for some fresh air and natural beauty.

IMG_5309 (300x400)

These two get along really well.  Bantley gets along with most people and creatures.  He doesn’t smile much but he’s always in good spirits 🙂

It’s almost Milkweed Pod Explosion season.  You know what that means?  Millions of wishes will be flying around just waiting to be made.  It’s the Roomie’s favorite time of year!  Mr. Nigel Murray seem skeptical but Bantley assured him after that first wish it’s addicting!

Until our next adventure!

A Little Taste of Spring

What a wonderful weekend!  Warm (upper 50’s) and without any snow or rain to drag down the warmth!

IMG_8648 (400x300)

Home, Me and China went to the Arboretum for some “almost” spring fun.  It was 58 degrees but windy so it felt colder but since the three of us are used to cold temps it didn’t faze us at all.  The Roomies looked a little chilly though, lol.

IMG_8651 (300x400)

There still plenty of snow laying about but we made the best of it.  It’s melting pretty quickly.  Just another sign that spring isn’t too far a way 🙂

IMG_8666 (300x400)

There were plenty of places that had no snow.  China is getting her Buddha Chant on here.  I don’t think she knew I was taking her picture even though she looks like she’s posing for the camera.  She really meditating.  China’s deep like that!

IMG_8667 (300x400)

We even got in some rock climbing.  Homie is an old guy but he’s still got it!

IMG_8671 (400x300)

I thought China being made of glass would shy away from the rock climbing but she was the first one to the top of the cave.  You go girl!

It was a great weekend with friends!

An Arboretum Day

It turned out to be a beautiful weekend after all the rain that we’ve had the last several days.

The annual Scarecrow Festival is in full swing and there were some very cleaver entries this year.

It was marvelous to get out and explore the gardens.

Autumn has been fantastic this year and I can’t wait to come back here to do more exploring.  So much still to see!
