The Underminer Is Grouchy
The Underminer woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Winter Storm Quiana
Winter Storm Quiana dropped about 3″ on our part of town.
It was really pretty and a feathery type of snow. Easy to shovel.
We watched The Roomies shovel. We didn’t help…just watched, lol.
When you are only 2″ tall the 3″ of snow can be a little dice. Eddie said he was too cold for this fracking stuff.
The only one really prepared for the snow was RBG. It’s because she’s super brilliant.

A Beautiful Summer Day
The humidity is down today even though it’s hotish. It was great day to take to the gardens.
It was so beautiful in the Rose Garden. The Roomie loves this place to just sit in the shade and people and plant watch.
It was great lunch time 🙂
Summering Pool Side
The Roomie knows people with pools. Which is a great thing this summer because it’s been as hot as the sun!
It was refreshing and cooled Jimmy down right away. He’s not good when it’s hot. He is a lot like the Roomie in that respect.
We were playing pool (ha ha ha) until Jimmy dropped the 8-ball in the pocket. So we lost. It was still fun. It would have been more fun if we had some Bourbon. Just saying 🙂
Okay…Someone Turn Off The Rain
We’ve had tropical conditions lately. Very hot but also very, very humid. Then it rains and becomes very, very steamy!
We were all blaming this guy. Look more rainstorms behind him. Not Cool Heaty!
The Thunder and Lightning was just what was left of Hurricane Alberto.
Sharkhead is really finding this weather a bummer. He has big plans for the Summer of M&S. He’s trying to be the star and all the rain is hampering his 15 mins. of fame 🙂
Jimmy and Eddie had fun and to them that is all that mattered. So I guess it was a win after all, lol!

Keeping in mind they celebrated National French Fry Day, so…um…yeah.
Visiting History
This weekend Hope Lodge had their Charter Day Open House. This was so much fun. The Roomie takes us out to local Historical places if they are holding an event of some kind.
Mick likes to visit places beyond the Magic Kingdom. So much to see in the world. Hope Lodge gives a glimpse into the 18th Century.
Michael was in full regalia and making History come alive for the visitors with his Musket display. We learned so many interesting facts about the Revolutionary War. Combat and life wasn’t what we had expected.
It was a very cold day but so worth getting out and getting our knowledge on! Mick told the Roomie he wants to see more. Hopefully we have some cool adventures coming up.
