Christmas Fun – Part 2 – A Christmas Carol

We went with the Roomie to see ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the historic Walnut Street Theater.

Mr. Nigel Murray loves the theater.  He said it reminded him of his days in London.

We all wondered if he wore clothing in London?  It’s not a question one just blurts out and he wasn’t being forth coming.

Pablo gave the show 12 nubs up!  He was loving the songs and chuckling along like the rest of us.  It was a wonderful day In Town.  We are all starting to feel the Christmas spirit!  God Bless us Everyone!

It was awesome to see the Heroine was Green…Like me 🙂

The music was amazing.  We listened to the soundtrack in the car on the way to the theater but there is something to be said for the live action of the musical.

I had so much fun and was still cheering on Elphaba at the end!  I totally love her!!!  Do you think she would marry me?

He Puts The Sh In Shamy

What do you think?  Should I go with the Batman face painting?  I totally could be Batman…you know if I had a billion dollars, a mansion, cave and a cool car.  Well I’d need a driver for the car since I don’t drive.  But then I’d have to have a sidekick and I don’t want on so I can’t be Batman.  Oh well…maybe I should be a pirate instead.

Aw dang.

IMG_8420 (400x300)

We like the Monkeys but alas we could find no Koala’s…Sad Face 😦

Bjorn is all about the Alligators.

The Giraffes are so funny and fun all at the same time.  They have like the whole package.

Apparently Bjorn’s roommate seems to like sticking her face in things…I do not get it.

The Big Balloon wasn’t working yesterday.  I think it was because it was windy.  Maybe next time Shamy can get pictures of Town!

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a great Thanksgiving again this year.

I went to the local High School’s production of “Father of the Bride”.  Well done players!

While Spencer stole the Roomie’s new hat and became some kind of wanna-be Thanksgiving Fashion model.

It was a good day for all of us.  The second best part…a 4-day weekend!  Oh Yeah!  Gobble Gobble 🙂

Almost Like Home

I grew up in the forest like my Cousin Bjorn and my friend Alister.  They are trolls where I am troll adjacent.  This weekend the Roomies took me to a place that was as beautiful as my homeland.

They grown their frogs big in America…but I thought everything was only big in Texas?

What kind of bird laid these eggs?  I think one of them is trying to break through and eat me.  Later…

It was a great day in the forest and I can’t wait to go back and discover other things about the American Forests.

Eddie & Jimmy Go Out To Dinner

The Roomies were going out to dinner and asked us if we wanted to go along too.  Since I love drinking food and Jimmy is usually doing nothing but lying around I told him to put on his eatin’ britches we’s going out!

I had to ask Bean if she would help us out by putting us closer to the action.

It was a much better being on the table than under it.  HA HA…first time for everything with me.  So no one told me that the table was hot.  Well Jimmy said he told me but usually I think he’s lying to me.

You know because he walks with a cane and doesn’t even have a limp.

Jimmy learns first hand what happens when Roomie leaves the rescue spoon in the fondue pot…HA HA HA.

Jimmy was overwhelmed by the heat and he passed out.  So I quick got myself a whiskey and water.

What can I say…I love me some fondue!  Then on to desert.  Jimmy woke right up when he heard the word CHOCOLATE!

So Roomie asked me if she had anything in her teeth…of course she did…like always.

OMG…Someone get her a breath mint before she kills me!!!

If you ever get a chance to go to the Melting Pot…GO.  If you don’t get the chance…work on your schedule and make it happen people.

Fondue is fun, the atmosphere is lovely and they do not discriminated against short alcoholic poets.

Got Pride?

So this weekend was Pride in Philadelphia.  We didn’t go into the city this year but it doesn’t mean we didn’t have our pride on.  I broke out my Pride sash and wore it all day.

It was a good weekend.  I got to read some and eat some and yes we did hit the city on Saturday.  We had some steaks at Geno’s.
It was a good tasty time.  I think next year I will make a pride sign 😉

Back To Work Stan

But my name isn’t Stan???  It’s Chris.

That Data doesn't process itself!

Bjorn went on a trip to his homeland for some spelunking on the Fjords.   Before he left though we went to the Casino to win trip money.  We didn’t do too bad if I do say so myself.

How come they don't make a 'Gone Gambling' sign for the window?

I didn’t realize at the time that the Tourists recognized Bjorn until I saw this picture.  We can’t go anywhere without someone wanting to see him in all his hairiness.

I See Hobbitses

Bjorn thought I looked like a Hobbit.  I told him he’s a Hobbit to which he did not take kindly to the comparison.  It’s like being compared to a human idiot or a politician but I think they are the same thing…right?
So after we took like a zillion (actually 5) pictures some dude came around and told us there was no picture taking in the casino.  Um…okay.  I didn’t see a sign.  HA HA…We got some pictures!
This was the last picture taken before we headed back home for a nap and a beer…but not necessarily in that order.
