So we are in Hurricane season. Luckily our first foray into the storm season is just a Tropical Storm. All that means is less rain and less wind. But don’t be mistaken…it’s very windy and very rainy around these parts!
I think Gordo fancies himself a future weather forecaster, lol.

It’s been so hot lately that everyone is longing for cooler Autumnal Temperatures. Miranda decided instead of Christmas in July it would be Halloween in July. The Roomie tried to explain it to her but she is an elephant who beats to her own drum, lol.
It was a very busy weekend. I hope all the Mom’s out there enjoyed their day! Brava!
The Roomie had a funeral on Saturday and needed 30 minutes to decompress before her next activity on this very active weekend. I love that she loves the Morris Arboretum. The sun came out for a few hours so this was the best time to visit. The brook was babbling, the early spring flowers were flowering and the fish were swimming. Who else would we spend this time with but Mother Nature 🙂 Happy Mother’s Day Mother.
We spent some time with Cady at her house. It was fun. She has all kinds of stuff to use as backgrounds for pictures…

They have this killer lamp. The Roomie loves things like this lantern. I think it reminds her of The Guiding Light 🙂

She also has this really comfy chair. It’s a little far from the TV but wicked comfy 🙂
We went to Mom’s for dinner and it was delicious. Happy Mother’s Day Mom!
The evening ended on a very sad note. Our beloved 76ers lost in the playoffs. It’s been a great season and we look forward to what next season brings.
It’s a big Wildcard game for our Philadelphia Eagles this weekend.
Our crew is ready to cheer on St. Nicky Foles to bring us a big victory!
We won the Super Bowl last year and this year has been a bit of a struggle for the Birds.
We are facing a big game against the Bears but We believe in Nicky 6!

Black Friday wasn’t a shopping day. It was a cookie making day. More especially it was a cookie eating day.

We’ve been going to La Hacienda a lot lately. They have an amazing menu we need to eat through, lol.
The Eagles beat the Falcons 18-12. The Halloweenies love this time of year. Their time of year!
The Boys of Summer are hitting them out of the park! First Place!
Smalls sure does hope they continue this winning. A World Series would go nice with our Super Bowl Victory!
The Flyers (Hockey) and the Sixers (Basketball) are in the playoffs. We had a big Super Bowl Victory with the Eagles (Football) so the town is a buzz. So are we.
Totally stoked for Philly Sports tonight. The Roomie isn’t allowed to watch because she’s a jinx, lol.
We went to see the Scarecrow Walk at the Morris Arboretum this weekend.
It was a nice day. We all can’t believe it’s only two weeks until Halloween!!
Brody was glad there was a Frankenstein represented. It was a good day.
